If we want to make a change about ourselves, or our lifestyle, we can do it at any time of the year. However, there’s something really clean about starting afresh at the start of a new year. Towards the end of 2018, I was beginning to feel lost. All that hasn’t gone away with the midnight bells, of course, but I’m determined to clear my head of all the bad thoughts. I want to join everybody else around the world in starting a new chapter.
This new chapter of mine includes some personal goals – healthy eating, exercise, scheduling my day and using my time more effectively. It also includes another over-branching goal: my blog. In the next few months, I’ll be approaching my 1 year mark for this blog. I’ve tried to make blogging work for me before, knowing that it would be something I’d enjoy, but it has never worked out at that specific time in my life. Part of me is glad that it didn’t, and that blogging came to me at a time where I’ve felt more mature and ready for it.
