Depression and anxiety are something I’ve struggled with for years. I’m not on any medication, so I try to help improve my mental health with counselling and self-care. Counselling has been something that has helped a lot, and I recommend it to anybody who has access to it! However, I’m not in counselling all the time. The rest of the time, my mental health is down to me.
I had heard about CBD oil before for things like pain relief, and have only recently heard about its uses for anxiety through Helen Anderson. Not long after, I was approached by a company called Salve Herbal who kindly gifted me one of their 5% CBD oils! Over the last month I’ve been trying out their product and seeing how it would help me with my anxiety and sleep (as I’ve also heard it can improve sleep quality).
Happy National Popcorn Day, everyone! I’m so excited to be collaborating with Popcorn Shed, again, in honour of this holiday. If you missed it, I reviewed some of their delicious popcorn flavours at the end of last year. This time, I’m bringing you my feel good films of all time! We all have those films that we’ll happily watch over and over again, just because we love them so much. And what else is a better accompaniment than popcorn?
My favourite flavour from Popcorn Shed has to be Berry-licious! I mentioned this in my last post, too. The raspberries add a lovely sour element to the sweetness of the chocolate, and the end product tastes amazing! If I had to choose only one flavour to have on my movie nights, it would definitely be this one. However, there’s such a selection at Popcorn Shed! You can even buy a little selection box of different flavours, so you can try every single one during your movie marathon.
They have a mix of savoury and sweet (and even a savoury and sweet) flavours for you to choose from, so there is something for everybody!
And now, onto my movie selections! I don’t know if I have a favourite genre – I’m more of a TV show person than a film person. So these happen to be a mix, but I love all of them equally and so much!
Happy Christmas Eve, everyone! If you read my Adagio Autumn Teas post back in October, you’ll know that I was always planning to do a Christmas version. The time has come, and today I’ll be bringing you Adagio Teas’ Winter collection! I’m a huge tea lover, and loose leaf tea is right up my street.
While Adagio do offer some teabags, a lot of their stock is loose leaf. I always feel like you have way more variety and can try so many more delicious teas with loose leaf! And for any tea lover, a homemade mini tea hamper would be a dream! If you’re stuck for gifts for any birthdays coming up over the next few months, I’d recommend making one for your loved one (especially if they love tea). Or, if they aren’t as obsessed as I am, make them a self-care gift set and include one of Adagio’s loose leaf teas. I think something like that would be so thoughtful and special as a gift!
Hi lovelies, and welcome to my third and final gift guide! This time we have my Christmas gift guide for him. As I mentioned in my Christmas Gift Guide for Her, although this is a Christmas gift guide for him, these are just the presents I have bought for the men in my life. I do appreciate that many, if not all, of these presents can be bought for people of any gender!
And if you’re looking for Christmas present ideas for your furry friend, you can check out my Gift Guide for Pets, too! Now, let’s get into it!
Hi everyone, and welcome back to another gift guide! This time, it is my Christmas gift guide for pets. As some of you might know, I got my first dog this summer and it’ll be his first Christmas this year (with us, and just in general!). I’m very excited, and can’t wait to see how he reacts to all the presents and wrapping paper.
I decided that since I was doing gift guides this Christmas, that it would be silly not to put together one for pets! I’m sure I will pick up even more for Alfie in the coming weeks – he’s the love of my life, I have no doubt that myself and my family will spoil him rotten.
