Hi lovelies, and welcome back to my blog! Today, I’m going to be talking to you about Geeky Melts. Geeky Melts is an Etsy store run by the lovely Laura, who is also a fellow blogger! (You can find her blog here.) She creates some amazing geeky themed wax melts, and they smell gorgeous. I was very lucky to be gifted some samples from her store – thank you so much, Laura!
If you love candles and melts, I definitely recommend you to check out her Etsy store and support a fellow blogger and small shop owner! Wax melts really do last a long time for the amount of solid product that you get, and Geeky Melts are no exception! I’ve barely dented the few products I was sent, and myself and my mum have been using them a lot.
The first melt I received was this gorgeous Calavera in the scent Rock Salt and Driftwood. I am so in love with the design of this melt. It’s so defined and detailed, it is almost a shame to chop it up and melt it! The glitter gives such a lovely touch to the melt, too.
This scent is very fresh, and perfect to pop in your oil burner when you’re giving the house a good clean!
The next melt I received was this Tombstone, in the scent Black Rose and Oudh. I really love this scent! Oudh is (to my knowledge) a south-east Asian scent, however I strongly associate it with the Middle East. I’ve lived in the Middle East in a couple of different countries throughout my life, and this scent is something that reminds me of that and takes me back to those times. Because of this, it was almost my favourite from these samples. However, the next one came up trumps!
I will definitely be purchasing another melt in this scent once I’m all out! Dark Mark, I’m looking at you.
The last melt that I received was this Melon and Cucumber Brittle. This has to be my favourite! It’s so fresh and smells absolutely gorgeous. This, like the others, has some glitter through it as well and looks a lovely, sparkly blue when it’s melted.
I love that it comes already broken up (since it is a brittle, of course), so it’s very easy to to just pop a small chunk or two into your burner. It makes me feel less sad cutting them up when the designs are so beautiful!
And that’s my lovely package from Geeky Melts! A big thank you again to Laura for sending these over – I am so lucky, and these melts are truly amazing. Go check out the Geeky Melts store, here, and get yourself some great melts! She has different designs, and so many scents – you really are missing out!
What was your favourite melt/scent? Let me know in the comments!
Until next time,
