I don’t think any blogger can enter a new season without writing about another of their (many) candle hauls. I’m proud to tell you guys that I’m no different! Today, I’ll be taking you through my recent Autumn candle haul.
I say recent – it was maybe over a month ago now. Time has flown by so fast now I’m back at uni, and even though I haven’t been finding much time for blogging recently, I have been finding the time to focus on me and my mental health. Whether that’s making sure to put the time aside for a bath every week, spending time with my mum, or cuddling up in front of the TV watching Bake Off. All of these things have one key thing in common – candles. Are you even relaxed if you aren’t burning a candle?
Warm, sweet and spicy scents are my favourite, so when autumn and winter come around I get very excited for candles. It doesn’t feel the same burning certain scents in spring when it’s warm and sunny outside. Sometimes, certain scents need a certain cold, drab atmosphere! Here are some I picked up last month in preparation for the cold weather.
Welcome back, lovelies! I’m so excited for today’s post, and I’ve been waiting for weeks to bring this to you. If I could’ve wrote about it straight away, I would have, but I wanted to try all the teas so I could give you a detailed review. I’m a huge tea lover, and was so excited when the lovely people at Adagio Teas approached me to try out their autumn and winter tea ranges. I was truly spoiled by them, and got some other goodies and accessories in the package, too! In this post, I will be talking you through the Adagio autumn teas, and my favourites.
Stay tuned for their Christmas teas range, as well – there are some mouthwatering flavours for the festive season!
Hi my lovelies, and welcome back to another blog post! I’ve not posted anything in the last week as life is pretty hectic right now. I’m so happy to bring you guys another post today, and in collaboration with Anne, as well! Anne and I have collaborated before, and she wrote a great piece on my blog on Why You Should Visit Ireland. This time, we’re going to be talking to you about our favourite autumn essentials!
I don’t think I’m the only one when I say that I love autumn. The season for jumpers, hot chocolates and cute hat and scarf combos! Over the last week, the temperature has dropped and it’s starting to get me in the Christmas mood… but, let’s stick with autumn right now and start talking about my essentials for this season! Don’t forget to check Anne’s essentials out, too.
Recently, I’ve become more environmentally conscious. I’ve been up-ing my recycling game, using reusable bottles and less plastics, and working up a reusable shopping bag collection. I’m not perfect, and I still mess up and buy myself plastic bottles of coke, sometimes. There’s a lot that I still don’t know about how I can help further, and I plan to keep expanding my knowledge on this.
While I do that, I’d love to show you my cute reusable bags that I take shopping with me wherever I go! My collection also features The Selfie Bag from Cotton Bag Co. It’s an adorable, canvas bag that comes in two different styles – not only is it great for shopping, but as the name suggests, it’s great to help you get the perfect selfie!
Hi guys, and welcome back! Today is another foodie blog – one of my favourite kinds to write about. The lovely people over at Starlings Artisan Foods sent me some of their biscotti to try out, and they’re all amazing flavours and so unique. I’m going to talk you through the 4 different flavours of Starlings Biscotti I received, and some recipes that they would be perfect for! If you’d like to browse through Starlings’ Biscotti and see what other flavours they have, you can find them all at starlingsartisanfood.co.uk.
Biscotti is a great snack – you can nibble on them plain if you like dry, crunchy foods, or lump a load of pate or cured meats on top. My mum makes me this amazing snack when I’m studying, where she rubs a garlic clove on the biscotti and tops it with cured meat, sundried tomatoes and mozzarella. It’s so simple yet so delicious! I could really go for it right now – thankfully she’ll be coming back soon to look after me for the next few months!
The four I was sent are a step better than your basic biscotti. They had some unique flavours; three of them being savoury, and one sweet. I’ve never tried sweet (or even flavoured) biscotti before, so I was really intrigued by them! The amazing people at Starlings also sent me over some recommended recipes for each biscuit (thank you). I’ve tried most of them and I’m so excited to share these with you!
