Halloween Stationery Review | Little Pencil Design

Hi guys, and welcome back! Originally I was going to write a stationery haul post, but I decided against it. I didn’t actually buy a lot of new stationery this year, and realised that the post wouldn’t be as high quality as I wanted it to be. However, I did purchase this cute mystery grab bag from Little Pencil Design on Etsy and was so surprised by the amount of stationery I received! I decided that this little bag needed an appreciation post of its own, and so, today, I’ll be doing a Halloween stationery review!

As I’m writing this, there are still some grab bags left. Since I’m scheduling this post, maybe it will not be the case by the time it is published. Just in case they are still available, you can find them here! If not, if any of them have particularly taken your fancy, I think all of the pieces are available to buy separately in the store.

Now, let me show you what pieces I got in my mystery Halloween grab bag!

I got these two greetings cards that came with their own envelopes, too. They’re adorable! My favourite has to be the pumpkin pie! I’ve never thought of sending greeting cards in Autumn before, but I think these will make for lovely cards just to send to let someone know you’re thinking of them. They would be especially lovely to use if you know someone who is going through a rough patch, and in need of a little love and cheering up.

They would also make for lovely blog props during Autumn, like you would use a postcard or print!

Next up are these stickers and labels! I think these will be great for my bullet journal in October. I can use the little pumpkins to dot around the pages to bring them to life, and the ghost and acorn banners to section off different parts of my journal. The labels would be great for titles, too – or even to label tupperwares of Halloween baking!

Staying with the theme of stickers, there is even more in this grab bag! Again, I could use these just to decorate the pages of my journal or for titles. The shiny, numbered pumpkins are the ones I’m most excited for, however. I cannot wait to use them for my calendar in October!

There is such a wide variety of stickers – I don’t think I’d be able to use them all in October alone. The great thing about some of them being more autumnal than Halloween is that I can save them, and use those ones in November!

Next up are these three – a badge, a paperclip and some washi tape. The badge is funny and so adorable. I’ll be honest, I’m more of a chai latte than a pumpkin spice kind of gal, but I do appreciate how delicious it is. I think this badge sums up a lot of people I know!

I love the paperclip! It’s quite big, so would be great for Uni to hold a bunch of my papers together. The pumpkin topper is so cute, it’s such a subtle Halloween piece but definitely one to make studying a lot more fun!

And the washi tape, oh my! I love how it’s black but with silver and gold metallic print on it. This one is from Sweet P Planner Supplies and is only a little taster of the full tape. I think that is perfect, rather than owning a whole roll that you have to put away for the other 11 months of the year.

Next are these card prints. These are SO adorable – even the gravestone. The tiny smiley faces on all of the stationery in this bag melts my heart! These are going to be great to use for blog props, but also decorations to pop around the house.

You could either punch holes in them and string them together in a banner, or tape them up in various places. I’m not sure what I’m going to do with them, yet – what do you think I should do?

Lastly, I received these spooky hanging decorations. I wish Halloween trees were a thing, because these would be perfect for that! They’re very simple cuttings of a skull and bat, but have a nice dusting of glitter over them. These are also going to be great for blog props for any spooky posts I may write, and for decorations, too! They’ll be easy to pin up, as well.

The lovely shop owner popped in a small Haribo bag into my order as well – thank you so much! That was so sweet of you.

I’m overwhelmed by the amount and quality of the products in this mystery bag, and for such a great price! If there are still some left, I would really recommend picking yourself up one of these bags. Not only is it great to support small shops, but all of these pieces are just gorgeous. How can you resist? If you don’t want the entire bag, like I mentioned, the shop does stock some (if not, all) of the products separately. If there is something here that you think would be great to add to your stationery collection, do it! They’re so cheap and affordable, and such great quality.

Thank you so much for reading, and I hope you enjoyed seeing what I got in my mystery Halloween stationery grab bag! I’m loving everything I bought, and I’m really happy with them. What was your favourite item? Let me know in the comments!

Until next time,

~ Beka
