A huge, huge thank you to Beka for allowing me this opportunity of guest posting on her blog! Today I am going to give you a small taste of Ireland. No! I don’t mean a pint of Guinness, I mean a taste of Ireland’s culture, scenery, food, history and the people of this beautiful country.
Ireland is a country full of culture from our traditional music, dance and sport.
Ireland is well known for its traditional Irish music and instruments such as the fiddle, and the bodhran and many musicians such as Christy Moore. Even though I’m not a huge lover of traditional music there is something inside of me that just wants to dance when it begins to play! It’s just so joyful and you honestly can’t help yourself but move that body of yours to the jig.
I visited the Pop Up Geeks again, and this time round they had a Rick and Morty themed cocktail bar! I love Rick and Morty, and when I first met my boyfriend that was one of the first things we talked about – so it was a definite that I was dragging him with me to check it out!
If you haven’t read about my last visit with the Pop Up Geeks, you can read about it here. They were doing a Harry Potter theme called Perilous Potions, and it was amazing! Now, onto Rick and Morty…
This is another recipe from The Body Coach, specially his fat loss cookbook. I thought this would have a crunchy consistency, but it was actually quite soft having mixed the popcorn in with the melted chocolate.
Even so, I really enjoyed it so I thought I would share with you guys, too!
This June Birchbox is five years old, and so released a lovely box to celebrate that this month. First off, the box itself is gorgeous – Birchbox always seem to pull it out of the bag with their packaging. It’s a tin box, with floral patterns, as you can see. It’s supposed to resemble and old style English biscuit box, which ties in with their extra gift that they gave away this month. I’ll definitely be reusing this!
The free 6th gift that we got this month was a pack of 3 different teas from Whittards. It came in a cute box with similar patterns to the Birchbox tin, and I received 1 Earl Grey, 1 Lemon and Ginger, and 1 Mango and Bergamot. Unfortunately, you won’t see them in any of my pictures as I shared and drank them with my parents as soon as my delivery arrived (oops) and forgot to save the packaging!
I tried the Mango and Bergamot tea and it was delicious, and not too overpowering in flavour!
Crayola Beauty ?
Our beloved craft brand from when we were kids have now brought out a beauty range. I’m still in shock, and so excited! Crayola are collaborating with ASOS, and at first sight I thought that it couldn’t really be Crayola, but it is!
Since I bought my products, they have brought out more – I’d definitely recommend having a nosey on ASOS’s website, even if just out of curiosity. They have eyeshadow palettes, face and lip palettes, highlighters, mascara, make up brushes and face crayons. Yes, crayons! They come looking like your classic Crayola crayon, and if you buy a pack of three, they actually come in the classic Crayola packaging as well.
